Classroom Flower Project
What I like about this art project, is that as a TTOC/Substitute, you could easily do this as a nice surprise when the classroom teacher returns.....

Each student can design a flower, fast finishers, creative types may do more than one while other students finish their first one. (or you can have a fast finisher design a vase for the flowers)

Cherry Blossom Paintings
I love the pink cherry blossoms blooming in the Spring. I have seen some awesome primary classes do tissue paper blossoms on painted tree trunks and branches, I have also seen finger painting blossoms and pink puff balls, but this idea caught my eye - how simple and (somewhat less messy than some other painting blossom ideas.... so cool!

Happy St. Patrick's Day 2013
Usually I post holiday themed activities, but it is Spring Break and I am at the BCTF AGM with approximately 700 teachers. So instead, I will just wish you all a Happy St. Patrick's Day and I hope you enjoy your Sunday!
